Designed to naturally complement the AEON-X, this tailpiece follows the same approach: a simple architecture, entirely redesigned around the precision of its fits, string routing and the attention given to every mechanical interface.
 
Fully machined from solid material, it retains the proven principle of the Stopbar while bringing the FAUVE level of attention to details that are usually unseen.
 
The string path in detail.
 
The six ball-end housings are machined directly into the body of the tailpiece, naturally positioning each string from its anchoring point.
 
The string passages are arranged according to a XX" radius, allowing their positioning to naturally follow the geometry of the instrument even before the strings reach the bridge.
 
The radii, passages and surfaces in contact with the strings are carefully designed to limit localised stress and guide their path without aggressive edges.
 
The apparent simplicity of the tailpiece therefore conceals a geometry entirely designed around the path of the string.
 
Controlled fits.
 
The same attention is given to the interfaces between the tailpiece and its supports.
 
The functional clearances between the mounting posts and the body of the tailpiece are precisely controlled to limit unwanted movement while maintaining the clearance required for installation and adjustment.
 
Once in position, two lateral locking screws secure the tailpiece to its supports.
 
The tailpiece therefore remains attached to the instrument when the strings are removed, preventing it from falling onto the guitar body and allowing its position to be maintained during a string change.
 
Comfort in the details.
 
A simple component is not necessarily a basic one.
 
The contours, ends and all surfaces likely to come into contact with the hand are carefully radiused and softened.
 
This attention to form allows the tailpiece to remain discreet beneath the hand and consistent with the level of finish of the AEON-X with which it is naturally associated.
