ROGUE reinterprets the Offset-style bridge by integrating a second string anchoring option directly into its architecture.
It uses the mounting hole spacing of a Jazzmaster™-style bridge and can be used either in a traditional configuration, with the strings anchored behind the bridge, or as a Wraparound, with the strings anchored directly into the ROGUE.
This dual-purpose design has guided its entire development: string anchoring, string routing, saddle geometry and adjustment mechanisms.
Two configurations, one architecture.
In the traditional configuration, the ROGUE functions as an Offset bridge: the strings coming from the vibrato or another anchoring system pass directly over the saddles.
In the Wraparound configuration, the string ball ends are housed inside the bridge, where they are integrated and concealed within the body of the component.
A single architecture therefore makes it possible to choose the anchoring method according to the instrument.
True Load Path Technology™
In the Wraparound configuration, each string is guided from its anchoring point by a dedicated guide ramp.
The position of the anchor point, the length of the string path and the radii guiding its change in direction have been defined together so that the string wraps around the bridge beyond the
twisted section located near the ball end.
Every dimension and every radius therefore contributes to controlling the string’s load path and prevents its twisted section from being used as a contact point.
Why place a string under tension on its twisted section when it is possible to naturally respect its load path?
True Radius Technology™
The three saddles are designed as E/A, D/G and B/E pairs, with specific geometry adapted to their respective positions.
They are compensated for intonation adjustment and pre-radiused to 9.5", allowing them to naturally reproduce the fretboard radius while retaining a full range of adjustment.
This design allows the saddles to operate within their optimal geometry while allowing the string guide ramps to maintain their orientation.
The spring integrated into the saddle.
Each saddle has its own spring housing machined directly into its geometry.
The spring is therefore held in a defined position and remains aligned with its operating axis throughout the entire adjustment range.
A discreet detail that contributes to the control and compactness of the overall assembly.
Machining as an aesthetic language.
The ROGUE embraces a sculpted identity in which the material and machined surfaces directly contribute to the design.
The contours are sculpted from solid material, with the toolpaths deliberately left visible. The outer lines remain fluid, while the inner surfaces reveal a more technical geometry.
On the ROGUE, machining is not merely a means of producing the design: it is part of the design itself.
Fully machined from solid material.
At FAUVE, every component is fully machined from carefully selected solid material.
This approach provides complete control over geometry, dimensional precision and the repeatability of every component, while offering extensive freedom in the design of shapes, radii and mechanical interfaces.
Every removal of material serves a purpose. Nothing is left to chance.
